Museum Hilversum and Stichting Beeldmix would like to invite you to the festive opening of the major retrospective exhibition 'Vier de Beeldmix, Dutch photographers of the past and present'. This exhibition is the final part of twelve exhibitions that celebrate the versatility of Dutch photography. You can see 'Vier de Beeldmix' in Museum Hilversum and as an outdoor exhibition at Station Hilversum.

Vier de Beeldmix shows how rich and versatile Dutch autonomous photography is. Past and present, different genres, angles, themes and voices come together in one visual story. Vier de Beeldmix is ​​a celebration of images and diversity. On display from until 26 October 2025 in Museum Hilversum and at Station Hilversum.

The photos depict a multitude of social themes. Vier de Beeldmix offers a new perspective on current topics. Abdelkader Benali wrote the room texts especially for this exhibition.

Vier de Beeldmix is ​​the major retrospective of the series of twelve exhibitions by De Mix Nederland. In each edition, historical photography is used as a source of inspiration for contemporary Dutch photographers.
