Figures from the Nierstichting show that there are 2000 new kidney patients in the Netherlands every year. Dialysis or a kidney transplant are needed to stay alive. In an intimate series, Selma van der Bijl shows the impact on Corwin and his family while he waits for a new kidney.

Hilversum through the eyes of children

Where your cradle is can mean a lot to your life as a child. In her project, Dieuwertje Bravenboer examines how life in Hilversum is experienced by children from the eight different neighborhoods.

Stichting De Zilveren Camera and Museum Hilversum want to encourage visual storytelling. Hilversum Beter Bekeken is a group exhibition that came about as a result of an open call for news photographers and was made possible in part by the Municipality of Hilversum.
